This study aims to look at the effect of implementation islamic values and employee work discipline on the performance of Moslem religious employees at regional financial management, both partially and simultaneously in the North Sumatera Provincial Government. The population was 34 Regional Device Organization (OPDs) in the North Sumatera Provincial Government, and the sample is 102 respondents using a purposive sampling technique with criteria namely muslim employees who work on the task of regional financial management. The data were primary data were obtained by using questionnaires and conducting a survey. The gathered data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression tests for analytical analysis which had been tested by using classic assumption. The result of the research showed that, partially, implementation of islamic values and employee work discipline had positive and significant influence on the performance of Moslem religious employees at regional financial management in the North Sumatera Provincial Government. Simultaneously, implementation islamic values and employee work discipline had significant influence on the performance of Moslem religious employees at regional financial management in the North Sumatera Provincial Government.

The basic resources in the activities of every business are human. Islam places human in their position as manager of nature (caliph). Managers in the most successful business organizations are those who able to manage human capital in an effective and efficient way. The business of halal products is entering the development trend, especially in Indonesia. Offering halal products is not enough to only be shown with a halal label, but must be truly halal in terms of inputs, processes, and products that are produced in order to provide benefits and blessings so as not to endanger consumers. Consuming halal products is an order of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. According to that, it is important to apply management that comes from Islamic teachings. This study aims: (1) to understand the importance of Islamic human capital productivity management (2) to discuss the pattern of productive human capital development in the management of effective and efficient halal product business sourced from Islamic teachings. This study used an analysis of qualitative content with document approaches, which analyzes various kinds of literature related to the topic of discussion, to produced normative descriptions. This study revealed that to manage a halal product business, it needs human capital productivity in the Islamic way. In its development, a management pattern that is sourced from Islamic teachings is necessary.

Since the enactment of the law No. 21 of 2008 concerning Sharia Banking, the development of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia increasingly and has an adequate legal basis so that it will encourage growth faster. Recorded total assets of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units continue to increase every year. With the progress of the increasing development, it is expected that the role of the Islamic banking industry in supporting the national economy will be increasingly significant. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Islamic banking financial performance on economic growth in Indonesia through mediation of profitability. The data which is used to measure Islamic financial performance are Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operational Costs to Operating Income (BOPO). While the profitability of Islamic banking use data Return On Assets (ROA). The data sourced from Islamic banking financial reports and Indonesian economic growth reports during the 2005 – 2018 periods. This research method uses Path Analyze. The result shows that partially, CAR, NPF, FDR, and BOPO give a negative and not significant direct effect on ROA. But ROA has a posiive and significant direct effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

In this age, human attention towards metaphysical things is greatly reduced, this is because human attention is diverted by the rapid progress of various kinds of technology and the glitter of world life. The Current world situation is really worrying with various events, such as natural disasters, riots, catastrophes, and including those carried out by the leaders and authorities of the country. They threaten, berate and blame each other. Then what is the connection with the food? The author intends to analyze from the point of view of the correlation of human behavior with halal and haram foods according to metaphysics, namely what is eaten every day and where the food source comes from. This is very interesting, because according to the authors, Human through the potential of reason and sensory devices that are centralized in a single entity, called “soul” must be able to reach anything that can be seen which is haram and halal eaten by the five human senses (physics), Although indications or effects of which cannot be seen by the five human senses (metaphysics). So there is no reason for human not to pay attention and develop their abilities in terms of metaphysics. Some spiritual references that have indicated to metaphysics, proving that food plays an important role in shaping a person's behavior, emotions and actions. This situation stated not only in one religion but also found in other religions. The Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (Blessings of Allah be upon Him with Peace), teaches every Muslim to eat the "halal and healthy" means that there are clear requirements which are seen in their physical and also unseen or metaphysical conditions which have an effect on their souls. So, the author hope to the nutritionists and other experts, especially those who determine the halal label food to research and analyze the existence of food not only seen from the physical course but also pay attention to the metaphysical things. This aims to avoid the impacted of food on a person's behavior from various dimensions, such as easy depression, stress, various bad behaviors, etc.

Tourism is the most promising industry in the future, where every country competes to improve and invest in tourist destinations for the better and has a characteristic that can be enjoyed by all tourists. The diversity of regions from which tourists are based is the basis of perception, when visiting Medan City. Medan City is the capital of North Sumatra Province, where the majority of the population is Muslim, but does not reflect the Islamic atmosphere in its activities. Halal tourism is the basis for tourists who are Muslim to visit, the paradigm that arises and forms in the minds of tourists makes the city of Medan a city that is less friendly to halal atmosphere. This study aims to improve the paradigm of Medan in order to become a city that is friendly to Muslim tourists, by providing strategic and technical marketing strategies so that it can be done well in the future. In this study also found that the factors that influence visits to tourist destinations are; characteristics, atmosphere, experience, accommodation, infrastructure, transportation, perception, communication, promotion and security.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of perceived value, brand perception, perception of halal tourism prices on tourist visiting decisions to West Sumatra Province after being designated as the world halal toursm award 2016. The sample in this study were 160 respondents namely of Muslim tourists and Non Muslims visiting West Sumatra. Data analysis in this study is structural equation modeling (SME). Amos 21 version used in processing data. In this study, consumer perceptions are one of the important factors that stimulate subjective norms. Subjective norms are able to increase tourist visiting decisions to West Sumatra Province after being established as the world's halal toursm award. One contribution of this study is that consumer perceptions of halal tourism have an effect on increasing tourist visits to West Sumatra Province after being established as the world halal toursm 2016 award mediated by subjective norms.

In the Compilation of Islamic Law in article 53 it is explained about the ability to get married for women who are pregnant out of wedlock with the man who impregnates her. Provisions in the KHI did not abort adultery status for the culprit, despite an out-of-wedlock pregnancy. Some of the opinions above show that marital problems for pregnant women due to adultery are controversial and very complicated. On the one hand, the ability for pregnant women to carry out marriage is intended to save the life status and fate of the baby, so that after birth he gets the same rights and avoids him from discriminatory treatment. However, on the other hand, the ability for pregnant women to get married can lead to freedom, which is one of the causes of increasing rates of adultery which can damage the fabric of people's lives. As for the subject matter, is Article 53 Compilation of Islamic Law creates legal uncertainty. Is it true article 53 Compilation of Islamic Law has deviated from the legal provisions in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The method used in this study is a method of normative legal research (doctrinal research) because this legal research is done by examining library materials or mere secondary data. In the view of Islamic law marriage is pregnant outside of marriage is unlawful, in accordance with the Qur'an the letter Al-Isra which explains the prohibition of approaching adultery, but if studied according to the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), pregnant marriage outside marriage is permitted, as long as the pregnant married person is married to a man who impregnates her, to avoid other negative impacts that will be received especially by women and children as the party who feels the most consequences. Then it also serves as a basis for women to demand that men be willing to take responsibility, and be realized by carrying out marriages and carrying out their obligations as husbands, as in a normal family. Based on the statement above, the writer tries to give a view that the regulation on pregnant marriage in article 53 of KHI should bring to benefit the Muslim community in general without violating syara rules.

Measles and Rubella (henceforth, MR) are contagious infection caused by virus through respiratory tract. They have been targeted to be eliminated in 5 (five) WHO Regions in 2020. One of the strategies is by giving two dosages of vaccine which contain MR through routine immunization and supplement with equally high coverage (>95%). The objective of the research was to find out the pros and cons of the implementation of MR immunization in under five year-old children (henceforth) at Tembung Village, Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district. The research used descriptive explorative study approach. The population was women who had balita as the target of MR mass immunization, and 90 of them were used as the samples, taken by using accidental sampling technique. The data were gathered by using questionnaires to find out the pros and cons of the implementation of MR immunization and analyzed by using univariate analysis. The result of the research showed that 56 respondents (62.2%) agreed on the implementation of MR immunization; 68.9% of them wanted to protect their children against the danger of MR, and 72.2% of them wanted to keep their children immunized from the dangerous infection. Meanwhile, 33 respondents disagreed or even rejected MR immunization; 28 of them (31.1%) worried about the vaccine since they suspected of fake vaccine because it did not have Halal Certificate from MUI, and 27.8% of them were afraid if their children would be paralyzed after they were immunized.

One of the goals of a marriage in addition to forming a happy family is to get offspring. The presence of children in a household is very important. In a household there is a husband and wife who cannot get offspring, so in such circumstances a husband and wife will certainly take various efforts as a way out. Artificial insemination is one solution that can be taken for married couples who experience infertility. This program is a process of conception (conception) carried out outside the uterus, which is between the sperm and the ovum reunited in a fetri dish which is given the temperature according to the heat of a woman. This is intended to stay alive to the stage of being inserted into the womb of a woman, or more popular with the test-tube baby. In this discussion the author discusses IVF with sperm and ovum from donors whose embryos are transplanted into the womb of the wife. This is done on a husband and wife who are not good in their wife's condition and the husband's sperm is lacking so that fertilization is not possible. In the end the couple receives the ovum and sperm from the donor, after fertilization, the embryo is transplanted into the womb of the wife. Artificial insemination programs with sperm and ovum from donors whose embryos are transplanted into the womb of the wife cause various problems in Islamic law. That is because it is not in accordance with the provisions of the syara law '. Furthermore, how is the law and status of children as a result of artificial insemination from donors in a review of Islamic law? What is the position of guardian of a child as a result of artificial insemination from a donor in a review of Islamic law? The method used by the author is a library research method, namely research whose data comes from library materials: books, books, laws and other scientific works. The approach in this study is normative-juridical. While the nature of the research is descriptive-analytic, namely describing and describing the law, status and guardianship of children from artificial insemination from donors in the perspective of Islamic law, then analyzed from the point of Islamic law. The analysis in this study is qualitative data analysis, namely in the form of deductive analysis. The results of this study are that according to Islamic law the legal provisions of the implementation of artificial insemination with sperm and ovum from donors who are not husband and wife then the embryo is transplanted into the womb of the wife is illegitimate, children born from the process are illegitimate children or the same as zina children and he was only associated with his mother and obtained a series of rights from the mother and family of his mother, one of which was guardianship when he was a child and not yet an adult. This trust includes guardianship of the self and property of the child. Guardianship of a child is in accordance with Maqasidasy-Shari'ah, namely for hifz an-nafs and hifz al-mal.

The research method used is simple regression analysis using a dummy variable, with a sampling of 100 families. The results showed that skills had a positive and significant effect on the size of the income of housewives, as evidenced by the skills of a housewife who would get a greater income when compared to housewives who did not have the skills found in the village of Klambir Lima Kebun.

In Islam, economic transaction is a part of regulation and it becomes a significant thing to apply because the failure of doing economic transaction will give an effect of poverty, fraud as well as the occurrence of various social problems. In Al-Quran ,Allah has emphasized that humans spend their property in the right way in sharia, as in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 195. In the greatest sense, the meaning of the verse is spending wealth means doing economic activity in fulfilling the needs of life which certainly involving human with the other one (muamalah), one of the activities is transaction of buying and selling. In Islamic law, the allowable economic transaction have characteristics such as, there must be contract or agreement, trade is conducted which based on like between seller and buyer, there is no fraud, there is an existence of recording and clarity from transaction. In credit sale and purchase transaction, there are two surahs in Al-Qur’an namely Surah Al-Baqarah verse 212 and 275 then Surah An-Nisa verse 29 that can be theorem of halal in credit sale and purchase. It is not particularly given in Al-Quran because there is no verse which explains specifically about law of this transaction, but the argument can make Muslims calm because of the general and universal meaning. For selling online transaction, if something that is traded is an item that is not required to be handover in cash of transaction as all kinds of goods except gold, silver, and currency, so transaction can be done on internet. The law is derived (takhrij) form case of sale and purchase through correspondence. According to Majma’ Al Fiqh Al Islami (Division of Fiqh OKI) decision No. 52 (3/6) 1990 - in Journal Majma’ Al Fiqh Al Islami edition VI volume II page 785 that ijab and qabul to each party who transact will remain valid in spite of through telephone and internet as though in one place. Disputes among scholars still occur in terms of the physical status of the goods being traded which can’t be witnessed directly by the buyer, but only the forms of images and specifications.

This study aims to analyze the relationship of inflation causality, BI rate, money supply to sharia bank profit sharing through the VAR (Vector Autoregressive) and VECM (Vector) Error Correction Models), and test Decomposition Variance on the model to see the largest contribution of conventional monetary economic variables . The population in this study is macroeconomic data and profit sharing for the period January 2005 to December 2015. The data analysis technique of this study uses the VAR Model, which is a non-structural model because it is atheistic. The VAR model has a simpler model structure with a minimal number of variables where all the variables are endogenous variables with the independent variable is lag. The VAR model is designed for stationary variables that do not contain trends. Stochastic trends in the data indicate that there are long-run (short-term) and short-run (short-term) components in time series data. Based on testing, estimation and testing of models, VECM (1) is obtained as the best model to explain inflation causality, BI rate, and money supply, while VAR (2) is the best model to explain the causal relationship of sharia bank profit sharing, inflation, BI rate, and money supply. The model results explain that there is a long-term causality relationship between variables, while the short-term causality relationship in VECM (1) through the Granger causality test shows that the granger variable causes inflation to increase the BI rate, while in VAR (2)) the causality between Sharia Bank Profit Sharing and other macroeconomic variables.

The basic purpose, kind of Indonesia’s halal commodity supply had known by international community. It would be increasing the halal commodity supply for international market, and the prices changed. Indonesia has opportunities for export Indonesia’s halal commodity at international market, at least for ASEAN community. This activities sure could be Indonesia popular in the world with the halal product because Indonesia’s halal commodity still low contribute. The perfect supply of Indonesia’s halal commodity could be as motivation for domestic government to increase the performance of export. Many kind of the Indonesia’s export commodity as value added opportunities for domestic. Production increase then export for national income increased. For the end, these would be helping natural and human resources domestic for income per capita, the economic growth increase happen. Qur’an Murottal Therapy for Decreasing Childbirth Pain and Anxiety in the Normal Phase II Childbirth Women

Childbirth is the process of the secretion of fetus, placenta, and membrane from the womb through birth canal. There are anxiety, panic, and worry about severe pain felt by women in the process of childbirth which causes its process to take a long time. To solve these problems, it is recommended that they take a deep breath and be accompanied by their husbands. One of the distraction techniques for solving anxiety is by conducting murottal therapy (listening to the Qur’an verses recital). The objective of the research was to find out the influence of the Qur’an Murottal therapy on the decrease in pain and anxiety during the process of childbirth in normal phase II childbirth women. The research used quasi experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The population was all women with normal childbirth in the Klinik Bersalin (Maternity Clinic) Dina, and 10 of them were used as the samples, taken by using accidental sampling technique. The instruments were observation sheets and the voice of the Qur’an recital recording. The data were analyzed by using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with paired t-test. The result of the research showed that in pre-the Qur’an murottal therapy, the majority of respondents underwent the change to mild pain scale and underwent moderate anxiety. In post-therapy, it tended to be mild anxiety. The conclusion of the research was that there was the influence of the Qur’an murottal therapy on the decrease in childbirth pain and anxiety in normal childbirth Phase II women. It is recommended that the health care providers, especially midwives, apply the Qur’an murottal therapy in decreasing the level of pain and anxiety during the process of childbirth.

The Concept of Taxes and Financial Performance in Islamic Law (Case Study at Medan Syariah BMT)

This study aims to analyze the concept of tax and performance of Islamic banking using Maqashid Shariah Index. The concept of tax which is a burden will be analyzed from the aspect of Islamic law. Performance appraisal in Islamic banking is usually only seen from the measurement of financial performance. In this study the performance of Islamic banking will be measured in terms of its shari'a objectives using the maqashid shariah index concept which provides a broader and more effective maqashid shariah concept by dividing it into four objectives and eight elements. The object of the research conducted was Medan Syariah BMT. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports / annual reports obtained from research objects. The approach of this research is descriptive which refers to the analysis. The results of this study indicate that the term tax in Islamic law is known as the name Adh-Dharibah, which means it is a burden. It is called a burden because it is an additional obligation for assets after zakat, so that in its implementation it will be felt as a burden. In language and tradition, dharibah in its use does have many meanings, but the scholars use the phrase dharibah to refer to the assets collected as an obligation and become one of the sources of State income. By using maqashid shariah index, it can be concluded that the Medan Syariah BMT has the best performance of 46.22%.

Two-sided hypothesis using t-test which has a significant effect is: financial leverage has a significant effect on Return On Invested Capital, financial leverage has a significant effect on return on equity. Financial leverage that does not have a significant effect on net margins and Return On Assets. Financial leverage also has no significant effect on Return On Equity, financial leverage has no significant effect on Earning Per Share. To maximize research results, the number of samples should better increased both time and number of the company.

The purpose of this study was to examine the Effect of Leadership Style, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance with Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics as a Moderating Variable Case Study at Grand Jamee Hotel Medan. The respondents used were 97 employees who worked at the Grand Jamee Hotel in Medan. Data is processed using variance based Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, with SmartPLS 2.0 software. The results showed that Leadership Style had a significant influence on Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics, Motivation did not significantly influence Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics, Work Discipline did not significantly influence Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics. While leadership style, motivation, and work discipline together have a significant influence on Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics. The results of the moderating analysis (path analysis) show that the Leadership Style has an indirect positive effect on employee performance. Motivation has an indirect negative influence on employee performance. Work Discipline has an indirect positive influence on employee performance. Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics has an indirect positive effect on employee performance. Overall Leadership Style, Motivation, Work Discipline, and Employee Understanding of Islamic Work Ethics together have a positive effect on employee performance.

For a moslem consumer, food product with a halal label is so important because there are some foods which can’t be consumed by moslem people because of rules in Islam. That’s why an information about halal label is very useful. Nowadays, there are unscrupulous businessman who put the halal label on their products but actually that products are not registered in LPPOM-MUI. While in this case, halal products are not just because produced with an halal contents but also with an halal procedure as an Islam Shari’a. The research uses juridical normatical as the method, with the gained from literature through reviewing the primary and secondary law material. The Research is about Consumer Protection to products with a halal label but not registered in LPPOM-MUI. From the Research we know: 1) That cost to registered a product to take a halal certificate is not cheap and there are so many procedures to take which troublesome and it makes businessman won’t to do that procedures. That’s why there are unscrupulous businessman take a simple way with put a halal label in their product without doing registered in LPPOM-MUI. This act cause confusion about the halal label, is it true halal or not. 2) There is not rule which put an clear rule about halal label and also there is not an authorized institution which control the circulation of products with halal label which registered in LPPOM-MUI or not. This act cause unscrupulous businessman feels safe to put halal label to their products even if they not registered their products. 3) That rule which Protecting Consumer is not regulate about the sanctions to unscrupulous businessman who put halal label to their product but not registered in LPPOM-MUI. The Rule is so general and not give an impact to unscrupulous businessman who breaking that sanctions. Legal basis to this research are statute number 8 in 1999 about Consumer Protecting, statute number 7 in 1996 about food, Government regulations number 69 in 1999 about label and food advertisement.

Therefore the aim of this study is to examine the integration strategy of religion values in Biology subject especially in Senior High School Asy-Syafi'iyah Medan. Hopefully Biology is not only orientated in a matter but also contributes to the religion values. This study was conducted by using qualitative research with observation, interview, and documentation as the technique of collecting data. After collecting the data, the data would be analyzed by using some steps start from data condensation, data display, and data verification/conclusion. Finally, the researcher found that in applying the integration of religion values in Senior High School Asy-Syafi'iyah Medan, there was an adequate carrying capacity related to religion teachers' activity that assist in interpreting the verses related with the materials. Furthermore, the lack of applying religion integration in Biology subject was Biology teachers itself. Due to they still did not understand the materials which were integrated.

Searching for Regulatory and Institutional Framework of Zakat Institutions in Thailand: Past Attempts and the Way forwards

Zakat is considered to be a tool for poverty eradication and improvement of social welfare in Muslim communities. Many Muslim and non-Muslim countries have legally institutionalised Zakat and resulted in reasonably efficient and effective Zakat management system. In Thailand, Zakat has been practiced ever since, but no regulatory and institutional framework can be established. It has been argued that without such a framework, Zakat management in this country cannot be successful. This study highlights the attempts to establish regulatory and institutional framework of Zakat within Thailand legal system. Documentary research method is adopted in collection of government and parliament reports, newspapers, magazines and research articles. Content analysis was used in the analysis of data. The results in this study indicated that a number of attempts in the past 10 years to legalise and institutionalise Zakat system in Thailand; these attempts resulted in failure. The main reasons were lack of understanding on the practicality of Zakat within Thailand setting among Muslim and non-Muslim leaders. In 2016, the Central Islamic Council of Thailand with the power under the Muslim Organisation Administration Act 1997 issued a regulation on Zakat Fund Promotion 2016. It is the effort to formally institutionalise Zakat system in Thailand and has resulted in little success due to lack of manpower and expertise. This study argues that a bottom-up approach should be now implemented with a hybrid Zakat management where people may choose to pay Zakat to Zakat fund while direct Zakat payment to recipients is also recognised. The Zakat Fund Promotion regulation shall be used as a guide for practice. At the same time, educational efforts should be done during this period. If the effort is successful, many Zakat funds shall be established in Thailand. With the reasonable level of expertise, success, and understanding, an attempt to establish formally regulatory and institutional framework should again begin.

If good service is provided, the image of tourism and halal tour guides will be able to fulfil the necessities and desires of tourists.The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether there is a significant influence of knowledge on tourism destination and tour guide skills toward the satisfaction of tourists, either partially or simultaneously. The type of study is associative that measures associations between two or more variables. Samples taken using questionnaires amounted to 61 tourists. The data analysis technique used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis.The results of the study prove that partially knowledge has a significant effect on the satisfaction of tourists. However, partially the skills and beliefs of tour guides do not have a significant effect on the satisfaction of tourists. Meanwhile, simultaneously knowledge of halal tour guide has a significant effect on the satisfaction of tourists. Given the knowledge and skills of halal tour guides have a significant influence on the satisfaction of tourists in Padang City, the authors recommend the Halal tour guide incorporated in the PTG (Padang Tour Guide) should pay attention to halal tour guide knowledge factors on halal tour guides and skills.

The addition of supplementary factorial RAL (complete design) consists of 3 factors with 2 repetitions: RBD PO (Refined Bleached and Deodorized Palm Oil) (R) with the composition of 0% (R0), 0.5% (R1), 1% (R2), and 1.5% (R3), coffee bean extract (K) with the composition of 0% (K0), 0.5% (K1), 1% (K2), and 1.5% (K3, and the duration of storage (T) of 0 week (T0), 2 weeks (T2), 4 weeks (T3), the 6^th week (T4), the 8^th week (T5), and the 10^thweek (T6). The observed parameters were yield value, viscosity, and hedonic test. The gathered data were analyzed, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) when the result had significant disparity. The result of the research showed that RBD PO emulsifier and coffee bean extract, during the storage, had significant influence on the yield value of Katako butter and the addition of RBD PO (p<0.01). Coffee bean extract during the storage had significant influence on the viscosity of Katako butter (p<0.01). Katako butter is a food product which has high nutritive value, and its physical characteristic is similar to butter. The addition of supplementary ingredients in the process of making it is needed to increase the taste and to prolong the duration of its storage. The need for Halal standards in various emerging industries is a pressing issue in global Halal business. In Halal food industry, significant efforts to harmonise Halal food standards have been going on to nurture the growth of the industry worldwide. Within tourism industry, Halal hotel, restaurant or kitchen, and some other halal standards have been developed and implemented in many countries. To the best of our knowledge, no standard for Halal wellness spa services (Halal spa hereafter) has been developed. This article will therefore discuss the efforts to develop Halal spa services standard in Thailand a country that sees the increase in revenue from this industry. In particular, the current study shall examine the role of various stakeholders in spa and massage industry in the process of the development of Halal spa services standard and describe some important components of the proposed standard. More importantly, the study will highlight key challenges in developing the standard and implement them in the context of Thailand and propose workable solution to the issues. The findings in this study show that various stakeholders have been involved in the drafting process of Halal spa services standard. The standard contains basic criteria and requirements of traditional spa with some additional religious requirements to ensure that the spa services conform Islamic law. Lack of awareness and understanding among stakeholders and lack of qualified human resource at Islamic organisations are the main issues. Various training, promotional and communicational activities need to be done to rectify the problems. The findings in this study will not only contribute to the literature on Halal standard for spa, but does also pave the way for the expansion of Halal industry in Muslim and non-Muslim countries alike.

The Wage laws in Indonesia need to be ratified. Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Indonesian labor law as fundamental. In article 90 (paragraph) 2 stated that regulates the suspension of minimum wages causing polemic until the submission of a judicial review to the Constitutional Court, with the outcome of decision No. 72/PUU/XIII/2015. This research analyzes the epistemological foundation of the Constitutional Court Decision. The verdict states that the employer has a debt to the employer for the deferral of minimum wage. This type of research is Juridical Normative, using library materials as primary material. Using the Historical Approach and the Legislative Approach. Then using the Maqashid Shariah as his analysis. It can be concluded that Constitutional Court Decision No 72/PUU/XIII/2015 is the best win-win solution. The most important epistemological foundation is jurisprudence, namely Constitutional Court Decision No. 61/PUU/XIII/2010. Based on the perfective Maqashid Shariah the ruling is appropriate, the Maslahah contained greater than the Mafsadah. And it is included in the level of Dhoruriyah and is a form of Hifdzu mall (protecting property) and Hifdzu nasfs (protecting the soul). So that this final decision both in social reason and Maqashid test is the right decision. Al-Qur’an, the Holy book and the word of Allah (s.w.t), had been revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) through angel Jibril (a.s) and transmitted from one generation to others by way of Mutawatir. It is concise and precise in nature and regarded as a miracle of Allah (s.w.t) to the Prophet Muhammad, the last of His Messenger, and getting reward by reciting and understanding the Qur’an. It had been revealed in both Mecca and Madina in a certain period of time in Arabic and contains 114 chapters. This paper is an attempt to understand the role of the Qur’an as the source of knowledge with special focus to its role in establishing a conceptual framework in developing contemporary halal products for global reach. To fulfill this aim, interpretation, and highlighting selected verses of the Qur’an relating to halalan Tayyiban and its application to halal industry will be made. It is found that al-Quran is the primary source for halalan Tayyiban products in line with the command of the Qur’an that human being has to nourish himself with Qur’anic knowledge by means of reading, writing, thinking, searching and educating himself through reflection over the wonderful creation of Allah (s.w.t).

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the prices of sukuk (sharia bonds) Islamic banks in Indonesia. This study is expected to explain that there is an increase in the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, namely liquidity ratios, profitability and stability with the existence of sukuk funds. The Action Plan carried out on each evaluation strategy begins by defining a series of theoretical concepts, relevant levels of analysis, and measurable indicators. The dependent variable of this study is the price of sukuk (Islamic bonds) and the independent variables of this study are Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The data analysis model uses multiple linear regression (multiple linear regression method). Observation of the data used is the data of these variables in the last 10 years, in 2006-2015. Data is obtained from Bank Indonesia. The analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS software (Statistical Package Social Science). The results of this study prove that simultaneously Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR) affect the price of sukuk (sharia bonds) Islamic banks in Indonesia. The partial test results prove that the Return On Assets (ROA) does not affect the price of sukuk (Islamic bonds) in Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) affects the price of sukuk (Islamic bonds) Islamic banks in Indonesia. The Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR) affects the price of sukuk (Islamic bonds) in Islamic banks in Indonesia.

Language development is increasing rapidly every year, language is an attraction for companies to attract selling power, one of them is by using a foreign language. In its development, Islamic society is increasingly concerned in choosing products, brand language is a determining factor for people who want to try new cosmetic products. This study reveals the influence of attitudes that have an impact on people's buying interest in Islamic-speaking products, in this study the object of his research was wardah cosmetics. Wardah comes from Arabic, therefore it is known that the impact of Islamic language has a positive and significant effect on consumer decisions in purchasing wardah products. This research is quantitative research, The number of samples was 92 respondents who were students of the Panca Budi Development University Accounting Department. The analysis technique used is multiple regression methods and hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. The results of the study show that Islamic Language has a positive effect on interest in Purchasing. and the variable that has the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions is the variable brand in Arabic. From this study obtained R2 value of 0.724, it means that 72% of Purchase Decision variables can be explained by the independent variable, Islamic Language. The value of 28% is explained by other variables outside the equation.

The results of the analysis can be poured into the design and physical shape of the building. Because the functional approach is more needed by the user in activity in a room. The products of Islamic architecture are not only functional but in accordance with the guidelines of Islamic teachings, because this is based on the thought that Muslim beliefs in its teaching can affect the way Muslims build and utilize their architectural products (Omer 2009). The conclusion gained from this study was that the preservation of values in philosophical Islamic teachings could be applied to the building. This can be seen from the engineering that is interpreted in the form and form of architecture in the Muhammadiyah building in Medan.

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the analysis of the influence of Islamic work ethics on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Medan Branch Office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah. The population of this study was all employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah Medan branch office. The number of samples of employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah Branch Office Medan as many as 83 people. Data analysis method used in this study using structural equation modeling. The results of this study indicate that Islamic work ethics have a positive effect on job satisfaction of employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah is accepted. The test results show that the value of C.R is 2.769> 1.96 with a probability of 0.006 <0.05. Then it can be concluded that Islamic work ethics have a positive effect on employee job satisfaction in Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah, then Islamic work ethics have a positive effect on employee performance Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah is accepted. The test results show that the value of C.R is 3.436> 1.96 with a probability of 0.001 <0.05. Then it can be concluded that Islamic work ethics have a positive effect on employee job satisfaction at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah. And it can be shown that Islamic work ethics has an effect of 33.2% on job satisfaction and Islamic work ethics has an effect of 40.7% on employee performance.

Syari'ah Business Management Model: Case Study of Small and Medium Industries (IKM) inTanjung Balai

The syari'ah business management model is an interesting theme as its development continues to increase. There are 3 (three) developing models: 1) Sole proprietorships, 2) Partnership, and 3) Muḍarabah, a form of cooperation in which the owner of the capital (Shahibul mal) entrusts a certain amount of capital to the manager (muḍarib) with an agreement at the beginning. This paper analyzes the shari'ah business management model developed by the Small and Medium Industries (IKM) as a business unit with shari'ah principles financing. The number of business units can affect the business management model that is applied, and the management model can affect the results of the business being run. By using qualitative descriptive analysis method, this study found that Small and Medium Industries (IKM) use several business models in accordance with the type of business being carried out, namely single ownership and partnership as well as a combination of both models. The results of the study show that comparative analysis in the application of Sharia business models is almost the same in Small and Medium Industries (IKM). First, IKM uses several business models, according to the type of business being run. That is, the type and type of business that is run influences the business model that is applied. But there is one concept that is used as a foundation in doing business, that is, SMIs are not merely profit-oriented, but there is also a benefit value. Some variations of business models applied by IKM, namely: 1) Sole proprietorship. Second, the business management model implemented by the company can determine the success of a business / business. Therefore it is very important for SMIs to pay attention to the management model of their business.

After even 5 years of ratification, the Law of Act No. 33 of 2014 concerning Guaranteed Halal Products need to analyze the application of these rules in the regions. Not only in the regions, but the implementation of the implementing rules of this provision has not yet been issued by the government regarding the implementation of the protection of halal products. In Indonesia, halal product certification is carried out by the Indonesian MUI which is requested by producers based on the Fatwa of the MUI. There needs to be involvement of the State in the halal certification process, because the status of the Indonesian MUI is not a state institution or government organ, but it can be given public authority to carry out certain functions under the law. The formulation of the problem is how the application of Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Guaranteed Halal Products on the Policies of the Regional Government of Medan City. This study is a normative juridical study of the application of legal norms to Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Guaranteed Halal Products in the Regional Policy of Medan City. The Medan City Government has not made a policy regarding guarantee of halal products in the City of Medan through Regional Regulations and Mayor Regulations in terms of guaranteeing every halal product marketed in the community. Asking the Medan City Government must play an active role in realizing the guarantee of halal products by establishing regional regulations that regulate the guarantee of halal products in Medan in order to realize the guarantee of halal products in the city of Medan.

The Halalan Toyyibah Concept In The Al-Qur'an Perspective And Its Application With Food Products In Indonesia

The Qur'an provides information that food for humans and animals is already available on Earth but requires effort before being eaten. In addition, people are told to eat food that is lawful and good (Toyib) with no excess, or exceeding limits. Halal in terms of searching, picking and collecting it, and not in an illegal way. Q.S. Al-Baqarah (2): 168 explains: "O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.”. With regard to the food that is "Halalan Toyyiban" (halal and good) which have been mentioned above, it is also mentioned in Q.S. Al-Maidah (5): 88 as follows: "And eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers.” In that verse Allah commands to eat the halal and good sustenances which He has given. What is meant by "halal" in this verse is synonymous with the meaning mentioned in verse 168 of Al-Baqarah, i.e. halal things and halal ways of obtaining them. Whereas "thayyib" (good) is in terms of its usefulness which are: beneficial to the body, contains nutrients, vitamins, proteins and others that suit the needs of a person's body. Because, the food which is bad or is forbidden, if consumed, will damage the health, such as eating up food that has expired, contains formalin, or contains toxins and others. What has become today's issue is that many products that circulate in the community has been categorized as “halal”, yet they have a bad impact on human health, such as instant noodles, supplements, condiments, sweetened condensed milk with different brands and varieties. People are confused and doubtful about the halal standards issued by MUI, meanwhile the Halal Products categorized are products that have been declared halal in accordance with Islamic law (UUJPH No 33 Year 2014) and this Law also limits any category of products, that Products are goods and / or services related to food, drink, medicine, cosmetics, chemical products, biological products, genetic engineering products, and consumables, used, or utilized by the public. Differences in the principle of producing a standardized halalan toyyibah products result in the absence of super strict supervision and extra careful on halal certification will impact the wider community in relation to physical and psychological health. This research is expected to be able to compare the two sides of the halal concept in the perspective of Law (UU), Shari'ah and from Nutrition Science, so that there will be clear conclusions about how the shari'ah desires the concept of food that is halalan toyyibah to be.

Indonesia's primary energy consumption is dominated by oil, gas and coal. The use of fossil fuels for conventional plants continiously will have a serious impact on Indonesia's electricity system. By developing consumption rapidly, it is estimated that without rewenable energy resources and energy efficiency efforts, Indonesia can become an importer of pure oil soon. To reduce fossil fuels consumtion, especially for electricity power generation, the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy must optimized by utilizing the potential of wind and sun as a renewable energy source for rural electrification. The use of the season is very helpful in production hybrid energy, which during the dry season, the sun will play important role, whereas in the rainy season the wind will have more role in producing a source of electrical energy. Both of these energy sources aim to complete each other in optimizing the electricity produced. The concept of a combination or hybrid between solar panels and vertical axis wind tubrine will greatly help accelerate energy charging into battery storage rather than wind and solar energy made separately. From the measurements result of 100wp solar panels and vertical type wind turbines with low rpm <300 which have been combined can produce 700 watts of electricity, which using such power can turn on electricity in one house.
