Abstract

This research is about the implementation of government policies on peace and public order in Tasikmalaya Regency (Study of Street Vendors in Singaparna Market Singaparna District Tasikmalaya Regency). The formulation of this research problem is the implementation of government policy on Peace and Public Order in Singaparna Market, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency and the impact of government policy implementation on Peace and Public Order in Singaparna Market, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interview and documentation. The results of research related to the implementation of government policies with the control of Street Vendors (STREET VENDORS) showed a reciprocal relationship between the community and street vendors in meeting their needs, as well as the perceived negative impact of unrest from the general public related to the behaviour of street vendors who often occupy areas used by the general public, such as shoulder roads and sidewalks for pedestrians is strongly felt to disturb the peace and public order.
